AUTOMATIC VEHICLE LOCATION SYSTEM (AVLS) provides the location, in real time, of all vehicles in a fleet.AVLS uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and detailed Geographic Information System (GIS) to instantly and accurately plot the progress of vehicles on digital maps of the geographical area.
Global position system is a device that communicates with the network of satellites that continuously transmit coded information which makes it possible to precisely identify the location on earth by measuring the distance and coordinates from the satellites by receiving the signals. The satellites transmit very low power radio signals allowing anyone with the GPS receiver to determine their location on earth.

Applications of GPS extend to locating any thing on earth that has no roof covering the sky as the signals from the satellite travels only in a straight line and any roof to the GPS module restrict the signals from reaching the module Zapio Technologies GPS have its systems to identify the GPS modules any where in the state and now gives the name of the district precisely. We are on to make the system identify the location with an error of not more than 50 meters.

We have integrated GSM with the GPS module to communicate with the server systems. This will give an apt option for the service providers to locate any object that is to be commuted through out the state.
